The “Pause to Reconnect” retreat is a soulful escape curated for solo travelers seeking inner balance, peace, and connection.
Set in the sacred city of Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, this journey blends spiritual immersion, wellness, and cultural exploration. Departing on the night, participants will arrive in Varanasi for a three-day transformative experience for 4 days. Each day unfolds with mindful activities—sunrise yoga by the Ganges, serene meditations, temple visits, Ayurvedic healing sessions, and guided tours through Varanasi’s ancient lanes and ghats. The retreat promises moments of reflection, rejuvenation, and deep connection with oneself and the city’s timeless spiritual energy.
Participants will stay for three nights on a triple-sharing basis, with breakfast and dinner included each day. Transfers to and from the airport or railway station, guided sightseeing, yoga and meditation sessions, and Ayurvedic consultations are all part of the thoughtfully arranged inclusions. The retreat provides a holistic balance of structure and serenity—perfect for anyone wishing to unwind, explore, and reconnect.
Departure
- Participants will gather at the designated meeting point (TBA) at 9:30 PM for the overnight journey to Varanasi. The evening marks the start of a spiritual adventure filled with tranquility, culture, and self-discovery.
Day 1: Arrival and Spiritual Immersion
- Upon arrival in Varanasi, guests will settle in and begin the retreat with a serene walk along the ghats, experiencing the city’s mystical aura as the river Ganges flows gently beside them. As dusk falls, they will witness the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a mesmerizing ritual of fire, chants, and devotion that embodies Varanasi’s spiritual essence. The day will conclude with a meditation session, allowing participants to absorb the peace of the sacred surroundings and connect inwardly.
Day 2: Yoga, Meditation, and Cultural Exploration
- The morning begins with a yoga and meditation session, where participants can rejuvenate their minds and bodies with the rising sun over the Ganges. After breakfast, the group will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of India’s holiest shrines, followed by a guided tour of Sarnath, the site where Buddha delivered his first sermon. The day will end with a group meditation session, fostering mindfulness and shared reflection among fellow travelers.
Day 3: Wellness and Reflection
- The final day focuses on holistic healing and cultural appreciation. The morning starts with a yoga session, followed by a visit to a traditional weaving village, offering insight into Varanasi’s renowned handloom heritage. Later, participants will experience an Ayurvedic consultation and therapy session to promote balance and well-being. As the sun sets, they will enjoy a peaceful sunset boat ride on the Ganges, followed by a closing meditation session—a perfect moment to reflect on the retreat’s transformative journey.
